How to use a RapCo
(and keep it in good condition)

To apply a RapCo takes one person a couple of minutes to put on. It is quicker to apply than a plastic bag and 2 experienced removalists can apply the RapCo 200 to a sofabed in around 60 seconds from start to finish. This page contains step-by-step instructions to cover your sofa or chair with a RapCo. Download the instructions as a pdf here.

Tips on how to keep a RapCo in good condition.

Always pick up a RapCoed Sofa (dragging will scuff out the nylon where the sofa legs contact the ground. This is literally where the rubber hits the road)
When not in use make sure the retractable straps are fully inside their pockets. (the smooth Velcro is exposed on the RapCo but the hook side is sewn onto the retractable straps. Hook Velcro sticks to everything and if a lot of lint or fabric gets stuck it stops working as well)

Look here for instructions on the RapCap: the showercap for your sofas.

Preparation

Remove from carry bag

Make sure the zip is fully unzipped

Put the top section over the top of the Sofa with the open end at the front

Arranging the RapCo over your sofa

Arrange it evenly on all sides with the base spread out behind the sofa

Tip the sofa forward (onto its knees) and move the base of the RapCo under the legs of the sofa.

Tip the sofa back on to its feet. Ensure the base of the RapCo is out from underneath the sofa.

RapCap

A RapCap is like a shower cap for your sofas. It is extremely easy to fit for around the workshop and adds extra protection if you have a white sofa. It comes in its own attached bag.
